Smoke ‘N’ Flame unveil video for title track from new studio album ‘Speed of Light’ - Sleaze Roxx

Swiss rockers Smoke ‘N’ Flame consisting of Crazy Harry Jetzer on lead vocals, Lärmi Miller on bass, Alex Kiss on guitar and Beat Zuber on drums have unveiled a video for the title track of their new studio album Speed of Light, which was released on August 30, 2024.

In an interview with ROCK’D, Crazy Harry provided some details (as transcribed by Sleaze Roxx) about how long the album Speed of Light took to record and release. “We started recording like — I am just counting — like two years ago. We finished it actually last year in September / October. [We] wanted to release it at the end of January [2024] but then we had some things going on actually and I had the chance to travel around the world with my wife so that’s what we did and that’s why we had to postpone the whole thing for like eight months. The release was end of August then for now. And yeah, that’s kind of the reason. The recording itself, we recorded in our own studio so we had plenty of time. Sometimes, it’s good and in some ways, it’s bad because if you have enough time or no end date or fixed already, you tend to you know, ‘Aaah, let’s fix this, let’s do that, try this and that’. It’s a never ending story. At a certain point, you have to kind of [know] when you are going to release this thing — like finish it. Back then, the plan was end of January, which makes kind of fall — let me count, ’23 — yeah, the fall of ’23 we finished. It was actually.”
