It is almost the most wonderful time of year, which means Pittsburgh is getting ready for one of its annual traditions, Light Up Night.

This year, Highmark Light Up Night is on Saturday, Nov. 23, and you can find the whole schedule here.

Downtown Pittsburgh will be filled with fun activities, spectacular light shows, and live music throughout the night.

The alt-rock band The Fray will be the headline performer at the Xfinity Riverfront Stage. The group scored Billboard top 10 hits with "How to Save a Life," "Over My Head (Cable Car)" and "All at Once" in the 2000s.

The 63rd anniversary of Light Up Night features tree lightings, three stages with live music, craft food vendors, shopping and fireworks.

Peoples Gas Holiday Market opens the day before on Friday, Nov. 22, in Market Square. Visitors can also enjoy Merry Karaoke.

Then, on Saturday, experience a new light installation: "The Three Sisters: Lighting of the Sister Bridges" starts at 8 p.m. It is a dynamic light show that illuminates the Roberto Clemente, Andy Warhol and Rachel Carson bridges. It draws inspiration from indigenous cultures of Latin and Central America.

The town will be partying, too, on Saturday night. New this year, the Sixth Street bridge party features a '5 at 5' Happy Hour with discounts from 4-6 p.m.

Then, at 9:30 p.m., get ready for the Xfinity Firework Spectacular.
