A key route in Cheltenham linking the town with Bishop's Cleeve is to have temporary traffic lights outside of peak times more than a month. The affected road is Evesham Road running alongside Cheltenham Racecourse.
The traffic restrictions will be from 9.30am to 3.30pm and from 8pm to 4am. It's for what is known as GPR survey work - ground penetrating radar to look beneath the road surface.
Information from Gloucestershire County Council's highways department has the works area covering a stretch from the A4019 St Margaret's Road up through Pittville Park and past the racecourse. The work is scheduled from Monday, June 5 to Saturday, July 8.

Horsemans Bridge, Westbury-on-Severn: Road closure will be in place to strengthen the bridge and stabilise the road. This will be a full 24/7 closure from June 5 to June 9.
