A Jacksonville church is inviting the local community to an annual event called Light the Night, scheduled to take place on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 6:30 p.m.

According to Light the Night Event Manager Amiya Thomas, the goal of the event is to bring the light of Jesus into the community.

Light the Night, which will take place at True Life International Fellowship Ministries at 5105 Gum Branch Road in Jacksonville, will include carnival games, prizes, food, hot chocolate, a maze, a bounce house, and even a hayride.

The event is free to attend, and the church is currently looking for volunteers, churches, and vendors.
