Troy Aikman's new flame lights up social media: Is his marriage over?
Cowboys' great is dating a 34-year-old woman.
NFL legend Troy Aikman has sent shockwaves through the sports world with a series of steamy photos featuring a much younger woman, suggesting that his marriage to Catherine 'Capa' Aikman may be over. The 56-year-old former Dallas Cowboys quarterback has been tagged by 34-year-old Haley Clark in several intimate pictures, showing the pair getting cozy, with Clark even kissing Aikman's cheek and touching his thigh.
Currently vacationing off the Italian Riviera, the couple has been spotted enjoying their time on a sun-drenched yacht and swimming in the luxurious Amalfi Coast, all without Aikman's most recent wife by his side. This budding relationship appears to have caught fans off guard, as Aikman and his second wife, who tied the knot in 2017, have not made any public announcements about a separation or divorce.
While there is no clear indication if Aikman has initiated divorce proceedings, no records of a filing by either party could be found. Capa still uses Aikman's last name on social media, but their online presence suggests that they are leading separate lives.
Capa's most recent Instagram post featuring Aikman dates back to February 2020, showing the couple smiling in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Aikman's last photo with Capa is even older, from May 2019, taken during an African safari.
Clark, who was just a toddler when Aikman won his first Super Bowl in 1992, is a sales director based in Dallas and a graduate of Southern Methodist University, according to her LinkedIn profile. She seems to have developed a rapport with Aikman's college-age daughters, as they have joined the couple on their European getaway.
Previously, the three-time Super Bowl champion had shared snapshots of his May-December romance in San Diego. It is unclear how long the couple has been together, as they have only recently started tagging each other in photos on social media. In February, Clark posted a story on her Instagram profile featuring the names "Troy" and "Haley" written on place settings at a sushi restaurant.
Aikman had previously been married to former Cowboys publicist Rhonda Worthey, with whom he has two children, before their split in 2011. He has also had a romantic relationship with actress Sandra Bullock. Notably, Aikman made headlines recently for expressing his discontent with Bud Light's use of transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney to promote his own beer brand.
"I started 'EIGHT' with the goal of creating a company dedicated to making really great light beer," Aikman stated. "No agenda. No distractions. Just great f--king beer."
