If you have never walked it - or it's been years since you did - this is the weekend to visit one of the most incredible places on the Wild Atlantic Way.
The Old Head of Kinsale and it's iconic lighthouse are open to the public this weekend, with the chance to go right to the top of the 30-metre beacon and enjoy the incredible views along the Cork coast.
And it's the perfect weather to take advantage of this very rare open day.
The lighthouse has been declared open by agreement of the Old Head Golf Links and the Commissioners of Irish Lights - in a bid to raise funds towards the development of the Old Head Signal Tower and Lusitania Museum.
The Old Head is accessible to the public today and tomorrow (Sunday) and there will be parking and shuttle busses the the Old Head Signal Tower to the Old Head Lighthouse throughout the day.
There is no pre-booking - just turn up - park at the Old Head Signal tower and take one of the shuttle busses.
The lighthouse at the Old Head was opened in October 1853 and is one of the major lights on the south coast.
Its beam can be seen 20 nautical miles out to sea and also guards the entrance to Kinsale harbour.
