Good to glow
The sun is out and the weather is glow-rious as I write this. The sun hitting our skin and lazy evenings in the garden are fast approaching. Having more skin on show is inspiring me to be a glow getter. Here are some products to help you prepare for a big family wedding or a casual garden gathering with your besties.
St Tropez
Let's face it, the OG tan has always been St Tropez. I suspect I have been using it for events and holidays for almost 20 years. I love St Tropez Self Tan Mousse in the latest luscious Berry Sorbet scent. Revealing a streak-free medium tan after 4-8 hours, the formula seeks to adapt to your skin tone for the perfect golden result. There's no orange hue whatsoever and the mousse envelops the skin in a silky-soft veil of hydration, leaving it feeling smooth and supple with a non-sticky finish. A guide colour allows you to determine how much tan to apply, while boasting a quick dry-down time and transfer-resistant benefits, meaning no unwanted orange sheets. The wear off is my favourite aspect of the brand whether you choose a spray or to use the mousse at home.
Luna by Lisa
Its Sun Tint (€20) brings the magic of healthy, radiant skin whatever the season. It can be dialled up from a soft wash of warmth to a 2 weeks in the sun glow. The liquid complexion enhancer is perfect for all skin types, including those with mature or dry skin types, thanks to its ultra-comfortable formula that won't accentuate dry patches, fine lines or wrinkles. I love it on my neck and decolletage too as middle age has deemed them to be a little crepey in texture.
Armani
The latest addition to the Armani range, the innovative Luminous Silk Glow Blush (€45) combines the perfect dose of radiant colour with the natural skin finish. Effortless to apply, with a ‘no faux pas’ result, the formula makes it intuitive for everyone to achieve the perfected glowy complexion. The blush is formulated with a unique silk filler technology that creates an ultra-soft, silky texture when applied to the skin. The spherical light reflecting pigments allow light to evenly bounce off the face. These specific pigments ‘drape’ the skin and create a flattering, blurring effect. It comes in a range of 7 skin flattering shades with tones spanning pinks, corals, reds, beige and plum.
