It's hard to win these days. Cork hurlers have been labelled as light weight, tasty hurlers, that lack the physical size and strength to compete with the big boys of national hurling for years now.

On the June Bank Holiday Monday there was an item on the Marty Morrissey Show on RTÉ Radio 1 about the latest census figures on the fall off of religious practice.
