Wonderlights is bringing its magical light show to Cork this Christmas - Yay Cork

Wonderlights is coming to Cork this Christmas, with an immersive light show planned for all the family at Fota House and Gardens from November 16th, 2024.

The award-winning light show experience is expanding nationwide this year, with iconic displays, wondrous installations and magical creatures designed to amaze visitors of all ages as well as a cute Alpine Food & Drink Village where you can enjoy a hot chocolate and other festive goodies (hello mini doughnuts and loaded chips) afterwards.

Each children’s ticket includes a wristband that lights up and comes to life, adding an extra layer of excitement to every twist and turn of the trail as it reacts to the environment.

“Since its inception in 2019 by Follow Fox Events, Wonderlights has transformed its host venues into dazzling landscapes with spectacular lighting displays and immersive projections,” said the organisers.

“Each year brings new, innovative themes that tell a magical story through the use of beautiful lights, colours, nature, and specially composed music and sounds.”

​The experience is suitable for all ages and all trails are fully accessible, perfect for family outings, meet ups with friends, date nights, or group events.​

Wonderlights has recently won awards in the global Eventex Awards for ‘Best Outdoor Event’, ‘Best Entertainment Event’ and ‘Best Community Engagement Event’.
