Wake Up Montana Billings Reporter
BILLINGS, Mont. - Two new signal lights are coming to Billings this summer with other road improvement projects planned.
City Engineer Mac Fogelsong said the signal light at Grand Avenue and 32nd St W should be up and running in the next couple of weeks.
Crews will also put in a new storm drain on Bitterroot Drive in the Heights.
Fogelsong said there is an opportunity this month to get a behind-the scenes look at work being done by the Public Works team. He said the community is invited to tour the landfill on Tuesday May 23rd and the Water Reclamation Facility on Thursday May 25th between 4-7 p.m. He said there will be major equipment, ice cream treats, and activities.
There is also an opportunity to chat with the Public Works Department at the Billings Public Library on July 12 at noon (in the Community Room). They will discuss how capital projects and city infrastructure are planned. They will also give a status update on the West End Reservoir, the Skyline Trail and Inner Beltloop, composting at the landfill, and improvements to Mullowney Lane.
