Summer Reading Across the Upstate: Ready, Set, Go!

Summer Reading is a chance to let children explore their interests, dig into graphic novels or nonfiction or anything else that lights a fire in their imagination. Sign up at your local library so your family can attend free events, earn prizes and more.

Spartanburg County Public Libraries’ Summer Reading Programs continue through July 31. Visit any SCPL location to pick up a Challenge Card or get started online at spartanburglibraries.org/Events/Summer-Reading-2023. Choose a combination of 10 challenges to finish a card and win a prize while supplies last. All completed cards are added to weekly drawings for each age group for bigger prizes, so keep reading for more chances to win. Special events include visits from the South Carolina Aquarium, Professor Whizzpop and more.
