The official Japanese website for the TV anime Shadowverse Flame released a new trailer for its forthcoming fifth cour, entitled "Seven Shadows Arc," today. The TV anime inspired by Cygames's card-battling game Shadowverse aired for four cour with 50 episodes from April 2022 to March 2023. After a three-month break, the much-awaited fifth cour is set to premiere on TV Tokyo on July 8.

"Seven Shadows Arc" introduction:

Light has become the new "Strongest Shadowverse Player" by becoming the top-ranked player in the world rankings. After winning the right to challenge Seven Shadows, Light and his team are invited to the "Shadow Area," a huge floating island. It is a team battle between Light and Seven Shadows. The team that wins the first five battles against Seven Shadows placed in each area is the winner. Arc, Arc Ruler, and Seven Shadows. The truth of all will be revealed at the end of the battle. The great ordeal that will decide the fate of the world is about to begin!

The opening theme song for the fifth cour, "Tomoshibi" (Light) is performed by the four-member rock band Half time Old, while the ending theme song "Shekenale" by ten-member idol group OCHA NORMA .

Key visual with a tagline: "With you, we can be even hotter!"

Following the first Shadowverse series which aired for 49 episodes from April 2020 to March 2021, the second series Shadowverse Flame premiered on the TV Tokyo network stations across Japan on April 2, 2022. Both seasons are available on Crunchyroll to its members in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
